Templates for Spot UV or Foil items:
Files must be .pdf format & the same size
as your base file. The file(s) when laid
on top of your base file should
perfectly ONLY cover the areas that
will be Spot UV or Foil.
Foil or Spot UV template masks
should be pure black areas
(C=0, M=0, Y=0, B=100),
on a transparent background
with NO lines, spacing or text
< 1 point. This would be too small
to show and can’t be guaranteed.
Template files should be named
identical to your base file but
preceded by “SPOT-” or “FOIL-”.
There needs to be SEPARATE files
for the Spot area and the Foil area .
Summing up: A product that contains
both Spot UV and Foil would require
3 files... The Base file, the Spot file
and the Foil file.
